Hettmansperger Family Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2016 by Phil Hettmansperger to honor the memory of his wife Stephanie.  As a 4th grade teacher for 33 years, Stephanie effectively prepared her students for future success.  One (1) scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $2,000 ($1,000 per semester).

  •      Minimum GPA of 3.8
  •      Applicant must have completed
    • AP American History with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on the AP Exam 

Complete at least one of the following:

  •   AP Calculus AB or BC with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on the AP Exam.
  •   AP Microeconomics and Macroeconomics with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on both AP Exams.
  •   AP Biology with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on the AP Exam.
  •   AP Chemistry with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on the AP Exam.
  •   AP Physics with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on the AP Exam.
  •   AP Statistics with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on the AP Exam.
  •   AP English Language and Composition with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on the AP Exam.
  •   AP English Literature and Composition with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on the AP Exam.
  •   AP Psychology with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on the AP Exam.
  •   AP US/AZ Government and Constitution
  •   AP Comparative Government and Politics with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on the AP Exam.
  •   AP Spanish Language and Culture with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on the AP Exam.
  •   AP Chinese Language and Culture with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on the AP Exam.
  •   AP German Language and Culture with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on the AP Exam.
  •   AP French Language and Culture with a B or better and earn a 3 or better on the AP Exam.
  •   Participate in at least one extracurricular activity each year of high school. The candidate will include a list of the activity or activities they                    participated in each year and a brief description about their level of participation and what they learned from the experience(s).  The candidate will    also submit a letter of recommendation for each activity listed and hours served.
  •  Participate in at least one public service activity each year of high school.  The candidate will include a list of the service activity or activities and   approximate hours served for each year and a brief description about the impact of their service to the community.
